bicycleattorney.com On The Podium at Nationals
Monday, 14 December 2009 14:49
The bicycleattorney.com cycling team just wrapped up a great weekend at the USA Cycling National Cyclocross championships. Great results all around, but particularly for our podium finisher Rich Cramer. Rich got off the start line in a respectable 15/16th place.Riding a clean race with one minor mishap (and some shapely legs peeking out from under his droopy leg warmers) , Rich powered the long straight and uphill sections of the course in the later laps to pick off riders and get the bronze medal in the Masters 50-54 category.
The video below shows what a great start Mike Szwaya had in the Masters 40-45 race (rolling up along the barriers). It also shows how tough/important the start of a cross race can be with Martin Baker getting buried under the pile, but getting up and riding off with some bruises. Both were plagued by incidents and mechanical issues throughout the race and spent a lot of time running. Doug Evans, from the squad, rode a very consistent race placing 40th in a very competitive field of 147 starters.
Chris Snyder got 22nd in the Masters 35-39 field and John McCaffrey gave a huge effort in the Masters 45-49.John brought home an incredible 8th place finish to bookend some great effort and support for the whole team.Great job all around for everyone involved with the bicycleattorney.com team, demonstrating the true national caliber of our cyclcross racers!

Welcome to PrestoVelo one of Portland's premier cycling teams. We’re a group of dedicated cyclists - okay, bike racers - striving to improve ourselves through training and racing throughout the Northwest. Beer, bikes, and legal representation. What more could a race team ask for? That’s why we’re looking forward to making 2009-2010 our best year ever, for the team and the sponsors. Tracking our progress is easy. Just visit http://www.obra.org and look for the results of riders flying the bicycleattorney.com banner. At the races, we’re easy to spot. Our team kits are a very distinctive black, orange, yellow and white with the words “bicycleattorney.com” emblazoned across the our chests.
